The Department of Environmental Protection in Augusta is seeking an Environmental Licensing Specialist II to review development proposals and ensure compliance with Maine’s environmental regulations. Responsibilities include analyzing technical information, drafting decision documents, and leading project teams for complex proposals.
Minimum qualifications include intermediate education in environmental science and experience with environmental laws and regulations. Knowledge of natural resource protection concepts and skills in GIS or database management are preferred.
This position offers a salary between $54,412.80 and $76,315.20 per year.
