Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Contract Administrator — Entry-Level / Early Career with Security Clearance
Company Description We were early to the fight against Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance, and we've been pushing the edge ever since. Our mission is to help government and enterprise organizations understand and manage commercial data risks, shape their digital signatures, and operate with confidence in an increasingly complex information landscape. We build and integrate advanced, tech-forward solutions to problems our customers often don't know they have - until it matters most.

We move fast, think critically, and deliver where it counts. What's in it for you? We work hard and do fun things. You'll work on high-impact, technically challenging problems alongside a team that values teamwork over competition. Veilant offers a solid work-life balance and flexible remote work options. At Veilant, you'll work with the most talented software developers, systems engineers, and subject matter experts, building tools and systems that make a real difference.

Job Description At Veilant, we are doing meaningful work in the defense space, and we are looking for a sharp, motivated Contract Administrator to grow with us. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to break into government contracting and build a long-term career in the contracts management arena. You do not need to come in as an expert. We are looking for someone with strong business judgment, attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the drive to learn how Department of Defense contracts are managed the right way.

This is not a paper-pushing role. This is a career-building seat where contracts meet mission. You will learn how compliance, documentation, customer requirements, internal operations, and contract execution all come together to support critical defense work. If you are a recent college graduate, early-career professional, or someone with a background in business administration, communications, pre-law, finance, government, or operations, this role could be a strong entry point into a high-demand field.

What You Will Learn and Support You will support the administration of Veilant's Department of Defense contracts while learning the full contract lifecycle from award through execution and closeout. You will work closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, finance, leadership, and other internal stakeholders to help keep contract activity organized, compliant, accurate, and on track. Over time, you will develop hands-on experience with government contracting concepts, contract documentation, compliance requirements, contract modifications, deliverable tracking, and internal contract processes.

This role is designed for someone we can develop into a rising star within contracts management. What You Will Own Over Time As you grow in the role, you will begin supporting and eventually owning key areas such as:
* Maintaining accurate contract files, records, and administrative documentation

* Supporting contract setup, tracking, reporting, and internal coordination

* Assisting with contract modifications, task orders, deliverables, and deadlines

* Learning how FFP, IDIQ, and Task Order contracts operate

* Helping ensure documentation aligns with internal processes and government requirements

* Supporting communication between contracts, programs, finance, and operations

* Developing an understanding of FAR, DFARS, and DOD compliance expectations

* Building strong working relationships with Program Managers and Project Managers
In Your First 6 Months, You Will
* Develop a strong understanding of Veilant's contracts portfolio and how our DOD work is structured

* Learn our contract administration processes, tools, workflows, and documentation standards

* Support the organization and maintenance of contract files and key compliance records

* Begin assisting with Independent Contractor processes and related administrative tracking

* Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, especially Program Managers and Project Managers

* Gain exposure to FAR, DFARS, FFP contracts, IDIQ vehicles, Task Orders, and other core government contracting concepts

* Demonstrate strong attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage sensitive information responsibly Qualifications Must Haves
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Pre-Law, Finance, Government, Public Administration, or a related field

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

* Ability to manage deadlines, documentation, and multiple priorities with accuracy

* Interest in building a career in government contracting, contract administration, or contracts management

* Professional judgment, discretion, and willingness to learn compliance-driven processes

* Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including program, project, finance, and leadership stakeholders

* Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

* U.S. citizenship, as required for security clearance eligibility
