Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month

Overview

Under the direction of the Supervisor I, Strategic Organizational Leadership and Individual Development (SOLID) Planning Unit, the analyst provides subject‑matter‑expert and consulting services in strategic planning, organizational development, meeting facilitation, and moderation to DCA's boards, bureaus, and programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consulting services in strategic planning and organizational development.
  • Facilitate and moderate meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Support boards, bureaus, and programs with data analysis and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including executives, board members, and staff, to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives and long‑term goals.
Minimum Requirements
  • Knowledge of strategic planning, organizational development, and facilitation best practices.
  • Strong analytical, project‑management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with diverse groups and building consensus.
  • Eligibility to work in California and any required qualifications as per the Class Specification.

  • Ability to manage varying workload with competing priorities.
  • Analytical skills and data interpretation.
  • Problem‑solving and solutions identification for complex and sensitive issues.
  • Experience facilitating meetings with empathy and determination to reach consensus.
  • Experience navigating challenging stakeholder environments.
  • Experience leading strategic planning or organizational activities.
Working Conditions

In‑state residency required for employment. Hybrid telework arrangement available.

Job is full‑time, permanent, and includes participation in the Personal Leave Program 2025, which may reduce salary in exchange for leave credits.
