Position Overview
Case Administrators support probation teams, helping to keep the public safe and offering people a chance to turn their lives around. This administrative role offers the chance to make a difference, gain new skills and build a rewarding career within the Probation Service.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure processes run efficiently and systems are maintained properly.
- Collaborate with team members to collate and prepare probation information for case files.
- Use strong communication skills to handle enquiries from colleagues, agencies and people on probation in a busy environment.
Required:
Evidence of experience suitable for the role, assessed through application questions and behaviour‑based interview. Candidates will be evaluated on relevant experience and competencies aligned with the Civil Service Success Profile.
Annual leave of 25 days on appointment, increasing to 30 days after five years of service. National Probation Service is covered by the Local Government Pension Scheme. Extensive training and development opportunities are available.
