Location: New York
City of New York’s Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH) seeks Judicial Hearing Officers to join the Hearings and Appeals Divisions. JHOs decide whether to sustain or dismiss civil summonses and must manage hearings, review evidence, and issue written decisions.
These roles are hourly, up to 1,000 hours per year, with remote hearings by phone in the Hearings Division and written review in the Appeals Division.
