This position manages the Department of Health’s Heart Disease and Stroke Program funded by the CDC. It supports grant execution, program oversight, partner coordination, and data-driven improvements. As a Public Health Program Administrator, you will perform the following duties:
- Grant Oversight:
Manage grant agreements, budgets, and monitoring activities that comply with federal guidelines - Program Coordination:
Lead program activities that advance blood pressure control and stroke care across the state - Data Analysis:
Collect and interpret data to guide program changes and fulfill reporting requirements - Partner Engagement:
Build relationships with health systems, community groups, and government entities to achieve program objectives - Quality Improvement:
Review performance, identify barriers, and implement improvement strategies - Technical Support:
Provide guidance and training to partners and staff based on program expertise

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, in-office Tuesday and Wednesday. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

- One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ; or
- A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
