The Citadel of Glenview is seeking a Concierge to join their team! The concierge works closely with the Director of Admissions on implementation and monitoring programs designed to support the service needs of our residents, including bed management, compliance, and resident satisfaction. The concierge greets new families and residents to ensure they transition smoothly to their new environment and have their individual needs met.
Basepay range
$18.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Concierge Duties and Responsibilities- Secure new customers through the facility tour process.
- Responsible for creating resident medical records in Point Click Care .
- Oversee daily census activities, including clearing the dashboard in Point Click Care , maintaining the facility paper census, and completing the daily census worksheets for the home office.
- Manage bed census and communicate room readiness, room changes, and admission notifications to the admission assistant and IDT teams.
- Manage all swim lanes within the RESIDE software, including reviewing and editing demographic and payer information to ensure the contract reflects accurate information.
- Work with residents or other responsible parties to complete resident agreements via RESIDE within 72 hours of admission.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately and independently with patients and families.
- Experience working on a Care Transition Unit preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient computer skills required to perform duties.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- CNA license preferred.
- At least one year of experience in Long Term Care, preferably in customer services.
- Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
