Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor - Hawaii (#1298)

• Support internal and external customers nationwide in a quality improvement consulting environment.
• Work as a Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor to contribute to the survey process across facilities serving long-term care residents.
• Demonstrate independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process.
• Set priorities independently and collaboratively in performing survey tasks.
• Openly discuss conflicts or controversy and seek assistance as appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
• Travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis (as required for the role).

• Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics.
• Must have completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
• Must have at least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve residents of long-term care facilities.
• Must maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis is required.
