****** Sentara Therapy Center Reid Prospect is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Woodbridge, Virginia.
******** This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity
******** There is flexibility work a 36-hour or a 40-hour weekly.
******** The 40-hour work week would include 4 hours on Sat from 8 am - 12 pm)
****** Overview:
*** Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist.
* May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
* Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
* Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
** Education**:
* Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
** Certification**:
* Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQIAmerican Heart Association (AHA) RQIAmerican Heart Association (AHA) RQI
