OverviewChiesi USA, Inc. is a certified B Corp with 90 years of biopharmaceutical experience. The role supports the Access Marketing team within the Chiesi Global Rare Diseases unit, focused on rare and ultra‑rare disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of market access strategy, tactics, and marketing materials; lead market access for assigned brands.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Patient Services, HEOR, Finance, Sales, Data/Analytics.
- Monitor spend and manage payer marketing budget; steward resources.
- Grow to become a resource on all things US Market Access – strategies, tactics, assessment.
- Lead engagement with creative agency partner(s) and facilitate PRB review of marketing materials.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure brand access messages integrated into customer interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years progressive experience in pharma/biotech across marketing, market access, contracting, commercial operations, data analytics.
- Good understanding of payer segments (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D & B, etc.) and specialty pharmacy data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize data and deliver clear market access insights.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, creativity, problem solving skills.
- Self‑directed, confident, with ability to contribute to shared commitment and high performance standards.
- Well organized; manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail; project management success.
- Willingness to learn and grow within US Market Access.
- History of success in developing market access tactics for US payers.
- Experience with in Rare Disease.
- Demonstrated understanding of current US payer environment and market access dynamics.
- Experience with a Promotional Review Committee (Legal/Medical/Regulatory) and Veeva Vault or similar.
The annual base pay ranges from $143,000 to $215,000. Overtime pay for non‑exempt employees may apply. Base pay may vary based on location and experience.
