We are seeking Bilingual Spanish Therapists to join our innovative and dynamic teams that are here to give their clients a better future. At our Culver City campus, we have programs dedicated to helping those clients live a healthy, confident and deserving life. We are excited that you are considering joining our team! The Help Group Child and Family Center and Outpatient Programs are family focused, child centered community mental health clinics offering comprehensive services and programs to our local communities in central San Fernando Valley and Culver City/Santa Monica areas.
Outpatient comprehensive services include in‑clinics, school‑based, and virtual individual, family and adolescent/parenting support groups, case management, as well as medication management, offered in several languages to reflect our local communities. The Outpatient department prides itself on fostering hope and opportunity through its innovative, Evidence‑Based programs and professional trainings. All of clinical and program staff are trained, supported and mentored by highly skilled and competent Clinical Supervisors and Program Managers with a long standing history with the agency and contributions to LA County communities.
Our hybrid approach to service delivery will provide you with flexibility while ensuring the clients receive the services they need.
MA degree in psychology, MSW, or Ph.D./Psy.
D. in psychology from an accredited graduate program. Two years clinical experience with children and families. Minimum one year experience working with multiple‑issue families (e.g. unemployment, poverty, domestic violence, substance abuse, homelessness) and one year experience working within school, day rehabilitation, day treatment, psychiatric hospital or residential treatment setting preferred.
- Provide individual, group, milieu and family treatment (home based family treatment may be required). A minimum of once a month, face to face contact with parents.
- Routine and frequent collateral work with parents, psychiatrists, teachers, assistants, speech and occupational therapists, caseworkers, and others as needed.
- Provide therapeutic support to the milieu, as well as clinical guidance to the day rehabilitation staff.
