Field Application Scientist Manager, Americas at Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is a remote role with regular travel to customer sites across the Americas. This position leads a team of Field Application Scientists and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to deliver technical leadership and customer success in areas including CRISPR, NGS, synthetic biology, and qPCR/dPCR.

Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Field Application Scientists, including CRISPR and NGS managers and their sub-teams, through mentorship and growth opportunities.
- Implement standard processes and foster a customer-first mindset to ensure high-quality technical support and engagement.
- Maintain a strong field presence by meeting customers, providing advanced technical consultation, and leading by example.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and R&D to align technical strategies with commercial objectives and influence product development.
- Drive innovation and thought leadership by staying ahead of trends in NGS, CRISPR, Synthetic Biology, and qPCR/dPCR, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Bachelor7s degree in Life Sciences (Biology preferred).
- 3+ years of management and mentorship experience.
- Demonstrated experience translating complex scientific needs into tailored product solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in NGS.
- Up to 75% travel (flying and/or driving), including overnight stays. Travel is primarily domestic and may occasionally be international.
- Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience in CRISPR, Synthetic Biology, qPCR or dPCR field.
- Master7s or PhD in a Life Science field.
- Preferred 5 years of FAS experience in the NGS field.
- Familiarity with IDT portfolio including CRISPR, NGS, Synthetic biology, qPCR/dPCR and Custom oligos.
The annual base salary range for this role is $-$. This range reflects good faith compensation at posting and may be modified in the future. This position is eligible for a bonus/incentive pay. IDT offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off and medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
