Join our customer’s team as a Medical Records Specialist, where your expertise in medical documentation and records management will play a crucial role in advancing healthcare technology. In this innovative role, you will contribute to training artificial intelligence systems by leveraging your knowledge of clinical data, DRG coding, and EHR platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, classify, and accurately code medical records using DRG and related classification systems.
  • Review, organize, and manage electronic health records (EHR) to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and annotate healthcare documents for AI training purposes.
  • Utilize document management tools to track, update, and maintain patient data securely and efficiently.
  • Identify data discrepancies, ensure accuracy, and provide recommendations to optimize documentation processes.
  • Support the development and refinement of AI technologies by sharing insights into medical data structures and workflows.
  • Communicate findings, progress, and challenges through clear written reports and verbal briefings.

    Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency with DRG coding and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Experience in document management and organization within a healthcare environment.
  • Solid understanding of basic database functionalities and data entry standards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to medical data interpretation.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or similar credential.
  • Prior experience in training or supporting AI/machine learning projects in healthcare.
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare data privacy regulations.
