.
Float Health is a full‑stack platform for specialty pharma home infusion that connects nurses to home medication visits, moving care that doesn’t need a hospital to the home.
About Float
Float is on a mission to make healthcare safer, easier, and more efficient by connecting nurses with patients so they can receive treatments for chronic conditions at home.
Having closed Series A in 2023, we have successfully demonstrated multi‑state expansion, strong unit economics, and high retention of patients, nurses, and pharmacies. We have facilitated over 45 000 patient visits and are scaling to serve more geographies.
The Role
As an Intake Specialist, you’ll manage new patient referrals and coordinate timely start‑of‑care visits. These visits are typically more urgent than routine appointments, so you’ll act quickly, communicate clearly, and manage details with precision to impact patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Utilize the Float Health platform and supporting technology (Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack) to coordinate start‑of‑care visits, including collecting information, matching nurses, managing marketplace offers, onboarding patients, confirming logistics, and responding to restaff and reschedule requests.
- Communicate clearly, kindly, and proactively with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS (including responding to inbound and initiating outbound).
- Work cross‑functionally with internal teams in shared queues and Slack to ensure visit documentation and related tasks are completed.
- Prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, learn new processes and technology continuously, and maintain positive relationships with peers and specialty pharmacies.
- Provide feedback to improve technology and processes.
