Aboutthe Role
Clinicians are a critical part of our care team. As an Advanced Practice Practitioner, you will provide clinical care to patients receiving medication for opioid use disorder and a narrow suite of mental health conditions (depression, anxiety, insomnia, etc.). You’ll work closely alongside other clinicians, triage nurses, and administrative care coordinators to deliver compassionate, evidence‑based treatment to patients with OUD.
Responsibilities- Treatment Plans: Determine individualized treatment plans, facilitate changes when patients are not improving, independently or in consultation with a more experienced provider.
- Behavioral Interventions: Use motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and other interventions to motivate patients to remain in care. Conduct behavioral health/psych evals for our suite of psych services.
- Medication Management: Track treatment response, monitor patients for changes in symptoms, side effects, adherence, and prescribe or queue medications as needed.
- Education: Provide patient education on OUD and MOUD.
- Charting: Document all patient encounters in Ophelia’s EHR promptly and accurately.
- Training & License: Board‑Certified NP or PA; active DEA license (Schedule 3, 4, or
5) or willingness to obtain; fully licensed to practice in Delaware (additional licenses in NJ, NY, VA, or MD are a plus). - Experience: Passion for serving vulnerable populations; previous experience caring for individuals with OUD or willingness to learn MOUD clinical skills via telehealth.
- Skills: Non‑judgmental, compassionate care; comfort working with diverse populations; technological proficiency across multiple telehealth platforms; team‑based approach; knowledge of substance use disorder differential diagnosis, opioid psychopharmacology, evidence‑based psychosocial treatments, and brief behavioral interventions.

We set compensation based on the level and skills required for the role. Base salary ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 USD (based on experience prescribing MOUD). Compensation is dynamic: annual increases are tied to company performance and target achievement.
