Positionoverview
The MSL captures medical insights and acts as a clinical & scientific advisor to cross-functional partners. The MSL engages with the medical community to address questions beyond approved assets and indications, focusing on pre- and peri-launch activities or according to lifecycle needs of the brand. This role is field-based, with majority time spent in the field interacting with external stakeholders (investigators, clinical thought leaders) while supporting internal stakeholders and maintaining a high level of therapeutic expertise.
Travel expectations will be based on territory assignment and team needs.
- Medical Engagement
- Collaborates and engages in scientific dialogue with TLs to gain insights on the clinical landscape and develop a medical plan focused on product/disease area and launch objectives.
- Engages in scientific and clinical conversations to support launch activities and lifecycle management (LCM).
- Engages with medical societies, patient advocacy groups (PAGs), and guideline committees as appropriate.
- Provides training for external speakers as needed.
- Strategically engages payers in pre- and peri-launch phases (with fHEOR and Account Executives).
- Provides medical support to address unsolicited HCP questions in real time (face-to-face and via Medical on Call).
- Develops credible connections with key thought leaders in the therapeutic area through high-quality peer-to-peer dialogue.
- Documents activities and achieves annual goals; leverages digital capabilities to enhance medical engagement.
- Clinical Trial Engagement
- Provides recommendations and insights on study feasibilities within the therapeutic area based on field knowledge and investigator contacts, as agreed with home office medical and Global Development Operations (GDO).
- Liaises with key accounts to understand clinical barriers to patient access and ensure equity in trial access.
- Leads major evidence read-outs with trial investigators (e.g., Phase 3 top-line data).
- Supports interventional and non-interventional research (NIR) studies to facilitate recruitment and discuss safe and effective use of products, as defined by the study scope.
- Ensures pharmacovigilance procedures are understood and followed by investigators; alerts appropriate personnel to identified Adverse Events.
- Supports CRO-sponsored studies as applicable, per study scope.
- MD, DO, Pharm
D, DNP, or PhD required. - Minimum 3 years clinical or research experience in hematology OR 3 years as an MSL in lymphoma or multiple myeloma landscapes.
- Cell therapy experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines relevant to interactions with health-care professionals.
- Ability to partner and maintain relationships within the medical community.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Ability to translate scientific or clinical data into understandable information to help physicians serve patients.

- Strong knowledge of clinical practice and evolving healthcare delivery models.
- Ability to critically appraise scientific publications and understand trial design and methodology (GCP, regulatory requirements).

Pay Rate: $94.39 - $100.11 / hour
