Work Schedule
The standard work schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm during the Academic Year.
7:00am - 6:00pm during the Summer Months
This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options. The expected remote work schedule for this position will be determined by the needs of the department.

The Development Officer Senior supports the mission of Rio Salado College by fundraising and assisting with alumni engagement efforts that strengthen institutional support and student success. This role focuses on cultivating donor relationships, supporting fundraising initiatives, and coordinating alumni engagement activities in alignment with college and district priorities.
Working closely with the Marketing and Public Relations (PR)/Communications team, the Development Officer helps implement development programs, supports donor stewardship efforts, and contributes to building meaningful, long-term connections between alumni, donors, and the college. This position serves as a key collaborator with Foundation partners and internal stakeholders to support fundraising goals and alumni engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities- Support the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of prospective and existing donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Implement fundraising initiatives to achieve development goals.
- Assist in preparing and submitting compelling funding concepts/proposals, development decks/presentations, and reports to secure funding from private and public sources.
- Collaborate with Foundation representatives to align fundraising activities with institutional priorities and donor expectations.
- Maintain accurate donor records in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce or similar systems), tracking progress and engagement metrics to inform strategy and reporting.
