We're supporting a nationally recognized, kidney care organization, seeking an experienced RN Director of Clinical Services to provide strategic clinical leadership across a multi-site division in Norfolk County, Virginia.

This position offers a blend of remote work, regional travel, and on-site clinical presence.
What You'll Do:Clinical Safety & Regulatory Readiness
Drive accountability for safety processes and survey readiness
Support facilities during significant safety events and regulatory surveys (CMS, CLUE)
Ensure consistent compliance and safety response across sites
Leadership & Team Development
Coach and develop Clinical Services leaders to achieve performance goals
Address complex leadership or relationship challenges
Support succession planning and leadership growth initiatives
Clinical Performance Improvement
Identify and prioritize clinical outliers and improvement opportunities
Partner with Operations and Home leaders to execute targeted action plans
Align teams across modalities to improve quality, safety, and patient outcomes
Strategic Clinical Leadership
Lead divisional clinical strategy in partnership with senior leadership
Execute clinical initiatives with clear accountability and measurable results
Required
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Active RN license in the state of practice with no disciplinary actions
8-10 years of clinical experience, including 4+ years in leadership
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement
Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Dialysis or nephrology experience
Experience managing remote or geographically dispersed teams
Healthcare quality or patient safety certifications (CPHQ, CNN, CSN, etc.)
Hybrid role with on-site presence 2-3 days per week
Regional travel up to 50%
Occasional evening or weekend availability
Competitive base salary $145,000-$160,000 annually
