- Monitor reports and work queues to ensure timely response to denied cases
- Communicate with payers and hospital staff to coordinate appeal activities
- Prepare and submit well-documented appeals with supporting clinical information
- Analyze root causes of denials and implement action plans to prevent future occurrences
- High School diploma/GED required
- Minimum of 2-4 years of administrative and financial work experience in a healthcare setting
- Denials or appeals experience is required
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a healthcare-related field preferred
- Experience with management information systems and data analysis
- Familiarity with EPIC and Huron reporting tools
- Ability to train new employees when necessary
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to change
