We are seeking Licensed or Associate (1200 hours +) Spanish speaking Mental Health Therapists to join our team for this Part Time role in our Encino - Burbank locations. The position is hybrid – working both in person and via Telehealth. A minimum of 18 client hours is required (2–3 hour days or 2–4 hour & 2–5 hour days flex hours – 2 sets of hours required to cover afternoon/evening times, e.g., 2 pm–7:30 pm).
Applicant must live in the Los Angeles area; no full remote positions. We require a portion (not all) of your practice to treat children age 5–6 years old. You will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, enhance communication skills within family systems, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. If you are a skilled therapist post‑licensure or a skilled Associate with at least 1200 hours toward licensure and passionate about providing high‑quality care and mental health solutions, seeking flexible hours and regular W2 payments and steady caseload, we want to hear from you!
We offer the highest level of supervision for Associate therapists with a range of theory modalities. We work collaboratively and provide a highly organized Administration team to help you develop a thriving private practice. We require applicant to work some blocks of time in person in office as well as Telehealth. One half day weekend preferred plus afternoon/evening block of time.
- Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, children & the LGBTQ community
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client utilizing EHR platform therapy notes
- Use evidence‑based treatment and other theoretical approaches and methods to facilitate family and individual treatment
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
- Pass Law and Ethics exam (associate level + required)
- Masters degree in counseling, social work, or similar field for Associate therapists who have gained min 1200+ experience in other settings
- Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy reg # and/or license
- Previous experience as a mental health therapist and/or Associate required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and Law & Ethics in mental health field
- We require a minimum of 18 client cases up to 24 cases per week (see website for locations)
- Languages a+;
Couples treatment a+ - Prefer therapist who has experience treating not only individuals but also some couples (e.g., Gottman Training – Sue Johnson EFT – other trainings)
- Immediate start (or within 2–3 weeks)
