Job Description & How to Apply Below

Susan Myket, Ph.D. & Associates, a psychology practice in Chicago’s western suburbs, has an immediate opening for a full-time or part-time postdoc or testing psychologist with psychological and neuropsychological testing experience. We are open to training a postdoc or a newly licensed clinician interested in being an assessment-focused practitioner. We are also open to school (testing) psychologists.

As a family psychology practice, we see clients who have a variety of presenting problems, such as anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, OCD, op positional defiance, adjustment to stressors, trauma, disordered eating, and learning disabilities. We offer individual therapy, assessment, groups, parent consultation, couples therapy, family therapy, sibling therapy, and community consultation.

The practice is well-respected in Chicagoland, and clinicians quickly have a full caseload. Staff have dedicated offices, our billing company handles insurance and financial matters, and our intake department schedules initial appointments. We offer hybrid work-from-home and in-office hours. Our clinicians also have specialty areas or ages in which they excel - we can tailor most of a practitioner’s client load to meet preferences and areas of expertise.

Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.

D., Ed.D.)

We utilize standardized cognitive and neuropsychological measures. Most of the clients we serve are seeking a diagnosis of ADHD, Autism, OCD, or learning disabilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

The full-time client caseload is a minimum 80 billable clinical hours a month. The position includes meeting with clients for intake and feedback sessions, administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological/neuropsychological reports, and completing accurate and resourceful reports promptly. Typical turnaround time from intake to feedback session is 4-6 weeks. Must be able to work in tandem with our medical billing company. The ability to effectively communicate with individuals, including school personnel, parents, and medical personnel who may be completing questionnaires, is essential.

Pay:
Competitive percentage-based compensation model with strong earning potential. Annual earnings typically range from $75,000 to $115,000, depending on clinician caseload and productivity. The specific percentage rate varies based on licensure status, experience, and supervision needs.

  • Health insurance
  • Quality supervision/peer consultation
  • Competitive compensation
  • Simple IRA with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Warm interactive practice, where clinicians often work with different family members together.
