Job Description & How to Apply Below

For laboratory professionals ready to shape the future, not just run tests

You’ve spent years in the lab.

You understand quality control, point-of-care testing (POCT) workflows, and the real-world pressure faced by clinicians every day.

Now imagine using that expertise to influence products, guide teams, and directly impact how POCT is done across the U.S.

If you’re an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist with POCT insight, this role was written for you.

Why this role stands out

This is not a behind-the-desk product role. You’ll be the bridge between laboratories, customers, OEM and Proficiency testing (PT) partners, and product development, translating real clinical needs into better solutions.

What you’ll do

As Product Manager, you will:

  • Lead, train, and support our Product Specialist and Customer Support teams
  • Engage with laboratory professionals nationwide to understand evolving POCT needs
  • Build strategic relationships with OEMs and Proficiency Testing organizations
  • Partner closely with Product Development to optimize and expand the product portfolio
  • Drive market research, product positioning, and promotional strategy
  • Represent Eurotrol at conferences, customer visits, and industry events
  • Act as a trusted expert, internally and externally, for POCT quality control
Who you are

You’re likely coming from a role such as POC Coordinator, Lab Manager, Technical Supervisor, or MLS, and you bring:

  • Hands-on experience in medical laboratory and POCT environments
  • A proactive, ambitious, self-starting mindset
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize independently
  • Clear, confident communication, both written and spoken
  • Experience training, teaching, or coaching lab professionals
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a fast learning curve
  • Prior exposure to product management, marketing, or IVD industry roles is an advantage but not required
How you’ll work
  • Home-based role within the U.S.
  • Regular travel for team meetings, trade shows, and customer visits
  • Must live within reasonable distance of a major airport
  • All required office equipment provided
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet work environment required
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel by car when needed
  • Reports directly to the President of Eurotrol
  • Availability during normal U.S. business hours for leadership responsibilities

We’re a global leader in quality control solutions for clinical and point-of-care diagnostics, but more importantly, we’re a team that values expertise, independence, and collaboration.
