School Occupational Therapist - Remote Short-Term

School Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time | Lakewood, WA | Short Term Virtual Assignment

Ampersand Therapy, a women- and therapist-founded company, is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for an in-person, school-based OT position in Lakewood, Washington for a leave coverage position.

Whether you're a seasoned school OT or a new graduate eager to support students, we would love to hear from you.

• Location: Lakewood, WA (in-person with a local public school district
  )
• Schedule: Full-time hours
• Start Date: 2/23/26 / End Date: 4/1/26 - Short Term Coverage
• Caseload: 35 students
• Services Provided:
  • Direct occupational therapy services for school-aged students
  • School-based evaluations, treatments, and IEP development
  • Participation in IEP meetings with families and special education teams
  • Documentation and progress reporting
  • Collaboration with teachers, staff, and district leadership

• Valid Washington Occupational Therapist license (must currently have)
• ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification (must currently have)
• Previous school-based experience preferred, especially working with COTAs and participating in IEP teams
