- Possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Psychology; AND Have a temporary limited license as a Psychologist (TLLP) or a limited license (LLP) or (LP) from the State of Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services (grandfathered only); OR
- Possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work; AND Have an LLMSW or LMSW from the State of Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services; OR
- Possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling; AND Have a limited license as a professional counselor (LLPC) or an LPC from the State of Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services; AND
- Possess a valid motor vehicle operator or chauffeur's license.
- Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish speaking).
Provides individual, group, conjoint or family psychotherapy and support services to children with severe emotional disturbance and their families. Conducts clinical assessments, develops diagnoses, and participates in developing person/family centered treatment plans with client families. Monitors client progress and coordinates appropriate behavioral health and other needed services. Responsible for meeting all MDCH requirements for Home-based hours (minimum 4 hours per family per month).
Maintains an electronic and paper chart which includes required documentation of services provided, progress notes, treatment plans, periodic reviews and client rights documents. Participates in individual supervision and team meetings to review progress, identify barriers and develop strategies for better assisting families in reaching their goals.
- Required: Masters or better in Social Work.
- Preferred: Masters or better in Counseling or related field.
- Preferred: Masters or better in Psychology or related field.
- Driver's License (Required).

- LPC (Preferred).
