Overview
Position is remote with occasional front desk coverage in the Pinehurst location as needed. Demonstrate clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; ability to perform multiple tasks in an organized manner; processes information quickly and accurately. Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates initiative and flexibility; ability to handle multiple responsibilities and cope with stress.
Applicant must have strong customer service and computer skills.
Participates in creating a safety culture by optimizing safety at all times. Position demands continuous sitting, standing and walking. Must have manual dexterity and visual acuity to type and write. Must be able to speak and hear for telephone conversations and communicate with other medical professionals and patients.
QualificationsEducation/formal training/licensure/certifications:
High school diploma or its equivalent; three years of clerical experience in a business office with multiple office systems responsibilities; preferred knowledge of medical terminology; coding and billing; insurance/benefit verification; efficient use of personal computer, Microsoft office, skilled use of Epic desirable; keyboard skills of at least 45 wpm.
