Coding Analyst - Inpatient; Remote Position

• Review, analyze, and code diagnostic and procedural information for pediatric medical records
• Assign and sequence ICD-10-CM/CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-PCS codes for services rendered
• Ensure compliance with established coding guidelines and third-party reimbursement policies
• Perform comprehensive reviews of medical records to assure accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with team members to meet departmental accuracy and productivity standards

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Associate's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based coding experience required
• Experience in coding inpatient hospital stays, particularly pediatric cases preferred
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, ICD-10-PCS coding
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in coding and documentation

• Pediatric coding experience
• Familiarity with Evaluation & Management (E & M) coding levels
• Background in healthcare documentation and compliance
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
