Peer Reviewers; Non-physician

Visual Connections, LLC is seeking Peer Reviewers (Non-physician). The Peer Reviewer (Non-physician) will provide clinical, subject matter expertise to conduct comprehensive peer review of selected episodes of care performed in accordance with all applicable laws and State and Federal mandated regulations. Access electronic health information as assigned and make clinical judgments based on clinical experience and evidence‑based standards of care as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your clinical area of expertise.

Document all review information as instructed.

• Licensed by a state licensing board if required, or hold a certification according to industry standards
• In active practice, within the Reviewer’s specialty or subspecialty of the case being reviewed, at least 20 hours per month.
• Actively seeing patients in the above specialty/subspecialty area within the last 3 years
• Not currently employed by VA
• Current, verifiable credentials
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical area
