Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant - Home Health
We are seeking a part-time or full-time (10-25 caseload) Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant - Home Health.
In this position, you will provide direct patient care at their home, and support rehabilitation activities.
Responsibilities- Implement therapeutic programs prescribed by occupational therapist at patient homes to facilitate rehabilitation of patients with developmental, cognitive, or physical disabilities
- Enhance goals and objectives for patients rehabilitative programs
- Convey treatment results and patient progress to relevant parties
- Monitor and assess patient rehabilitive programs
- Organize and update patient records
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Previous experience in pediatric occupational therapy or other related fields is preferred
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Passion to help and motivate others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive and patient demeanor with passion to help and motivate others
