RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week

• 13-week assignment length

• Weekend hours as required by facility

• No call requirements unless sent home during shift due to low census

• Float between NICU, PICU, Pediatric medical floor, or Peds ED based on patient volumes

• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required post-orientation

• Must be ventilator competent - resume must reflect vent competency and NICU capability

• Required certifications: BLS, PALS from AHA only, TNCC or PCAR

• Preferred certification: ENPC

• Current RN license meeting Missouri requirements

• 12-bed unit with patient ratios based on acuity: vented/critical patients 1:1, ICU status 2:1, floor status 3:1

• Work with Epic EMR system

• Care for patients with respiratory, surgical, trauma/burn, neurosurgical, sepsis, hematology/oncology, and endocrinology conditions

• Scrub color:
Black scrubs or pediatric appropriate t-shirt with black scrub pants

• Physical requirements include standing and walking most of duty time, lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs

• Utilize nursing process for patient care across all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
