Title: Hospice Clinical Manager
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm plus on-call
Location: Hybrid field & work from home environment
Salary: $95,713 to $114,217 per year
The Clinical Manager is responsible for supervising hospice clinical care teams that provide clinical services to patients and families residing in their designated primary residence. The Clinical Manager also contributes to the ongoing professional development and competency of all clinical staff across the department. They provide site based leadership influencing culture and atmosphere that is consistent with mission and philosophy of TRU Community Care.
EDUCATIONAND QUALIFICATIONS
- RN license, required
- 2+ years supervisory experience in a health care environment, required
- Hospice or home-health experience, required
- Demonstrated competency in management and leadership
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, provide proof of insurance, and have reliable transportation
- Requires travel to multiple work locations locally
- Supervise an interdisciplinary team of Nurses, CNAs, Social Workers, and Chaplains.
- Works with clinical leadership to develop departmental goals, budgets, policies, and procedures and staffing patterns consistent with strategic plans, high quality care and within budget parameters
- Facilitates Team Meetings as assigned
- Demonstrates team building skills in problem solving and clarifies roles and accountabilities
- Actively participates in staff development
- Stays current with regulatory changes, keeping programs compliant with Medicare and Medicaid conditions of participation for the hospice/home health program
- Hires, trains and evaluates the performance of clinical staff; collaborates with fellow Clinical Managers to evaluate the professional competencies of staff across the department
