Overview
Sentara Therapy Center, Orthopedics & Sports Performance in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Full‑time, Day Shift Administrative Associate.
Hours/ShiftFull‑time, Day Shift hours vary and end at 5:30 p.m.
ResponsibilitiesThe Administrative Associate provides clerical support, manages patient records, schedules appointments, and handles patient inquiries. The role collaborates with medical staff, management, and patients to deliver high‑quality care and serves as the first point of contact for patients, family members, and visitors on the assigned unit.
Education- High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Computer Savvy with Microsoft Office Experience
- Ability to Multitask in a Fast‑Paced Environment
- Customer Service Experience in a Medical Environment
- One year of experience in a medical environment
- Completion of a healthcare‑related certificate program
- Completion of higher level of education requirements
- Transferable skills, such as at least one year in a call center, customer service application program, or clerical experience
