Central Scheduler – Remote PRN schedule as needed

Middle Park Health is a Level IV Trauma, Critical Access Hospital system serving Grand and Jackson counties in Colorado. We provide Emergency, Surgical, Imaging, Clinics and Rehabilitation services. -us

Responsible for scheduling and pre-registering patients for the Lab, Radiology, GI, OR and Primary Care and Specialty Clinics as directed. The Central Scheduler will complete a variety of duties that include but are not limited to: assisting patients and physicians offices with scheduling and pre-registering patients, gathering all patient demographic and insurance information, working with various software systems and insurance companies to gather policy and benefit information, obtaining estimates for out of pocket expense for all patients and making daily reminder calls for scheduled procedures/tests.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year experience in registration, scheduling and/or pre-certification experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Holds CHAA certification or obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Basic understanding of or willingness to learn medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Compensation: $22.00 to $33.22 +20% PRN Depending On Experience
