About the OpportunityMOGEL is partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare technology organization in the East Valley to hire Full-Time Billing Specialists for upcoming training classes beginning March 9, 2026 and March 16, 2026.
The Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist completes accurate and timely essential tasks within the Revenue Cycle Management department in addition to supporting other company strategies and goals. This position is essential in providing outcome-based performance for the department by completing tasks effectively and efficiently, including billing and rebilling denied claims appropriately and timely.
The Billing Specialist reports to the Revenue Cycle Manager and supports the organization by providing focused task performance and high-level outcomes related to revenue cycle processes in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Work Schedule & Flexibility- Onsite:
Monday–Wednesday & Friday - Remote:
Thursdays work-from-home - Choose a consistent 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Schedule must remain consistent once selected
- Complete accurate and timely billing and rebilling of claims in a third-party billing system
- Work denials, rejections, and billing errors to resolution
- Research payers and patient and update as necessary
- Update Electronic Medical Record (EMR) demographics as appropriate
- Positively contribute to department outcomes-based performance
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Follow standard operating procedures
- Assist in other duties as assigned
- Experience in healthcare billing, adjustments, and remittance research preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical office software
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of payer guidelines and revenue cycle workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills related to claims resolution
- Ability to meet or exceed departmental performance goals
- Exhibits professionalism, ethics, and integrity
- Experience billing in CA, OR, SC, GA, or OK
