Job SummaryThe Government Affairs Manager supports legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts across Point

Health’s geographic footprint, focusing on the Massachusetts and Rhode Island markets. Working with business owners, the Manager develops and communicates Point

Health positions on priority legislation and regulation to advance strategic, operational, and business priorities.
- Identify and prioritize legislative and regulatory proposals of strategic, financial, and operational importance.
- Develop and communicate Point
32
Health’s position on priority legislation and regulations, monitor activity, and engage trade associations and lobbyists. - Work with internal business owners to evaluate proposals and develop advocacy positions.
- Communicate and explain Point
32
Health’s positions to lawmakers, regulators, and healthcare officials, managing reputation and relationships. - Manage relationships with lobbyists and trade organizations to execute objectives.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert, maintaining expert‑level health‑care policy knowledge and advising leadership.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Education- Required (minimum):
Master’s degree in Business Administration or Public Health. - Preferred: J.D.
- Required (minimum):
At least 3 years of experience working on healthcare policy in a health plan, health care system, or legislative/regulatory environment. - Preferred:
Experience with Medicaid products.
- Experience leading and communicating legislative and regulatory efforts, developing advocacy strategies, and engaging stakeholders.
- Work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
- Simultaneous use of telephone/headset and PC/keyboard, extended sitting.
- May require additional hours beyond the standard schedule.
Annual base salary range: $96,123.20 – $. Salary determined by role scope, complexity, and candidate qualifications. Variable pay eligibility at company discretion.
