Are you looking for a meaningful career opportunity where you can change a life? We’re now hiring for a part‑time Host Home Provider in the Glenwood Springs, CO area! For this unique role, we are looking for a Provider that is available on the weekends. This role may also fill in during the week as the caregiver for the individual supported while the primary caregiver is unavailable, sick, or on vacation.

The Host Home Provider would have their own room in the client’s home during scheduled work days, as 24/7 care is needed during shifts. Providers earn a professional wage as an independent contractor for Able Light. What each provider earns can vary based on the needs of the person being supported in their home. This role offers up to $460 per day (24‑hour period).

A Host Home Provider’s primary responsibility is to maintain a safe and healthy home environment for the individual supported. This support goes beyond helping people with their daily activities; you will also focus on the tools needed to learn life skills, self‑sufficiency, and helping them become an active member of their community.

• Supporting overall health and well‑being
• Medical assistance, including medication administration as needed
• Hygiene assistance, including peri‑care
• Providing transportation to day program and other community activities
• Inputting daily documentation via web‑based case management application (THERAP)
• Providing fun and leisure experiences to the individual (opportunities for community inclusion, integration, and socialization)
• Preparing individual supported for bed and occasional needs throughout the night
