• Follow up with commercial, governmental, and other payers to resolve claim payment issues
• Analyze denied and non‑paid claims to determine discrepancies and reasons for underpayments
• Communicate directly with payers to file technical and clinical appeals and ensure timely reimbursement
• Document all activities accurately in the appropriate tracking systems
• Identify trends and issues related to accounts receivable and communicate them to management

• Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and critical thinking skills
• Ability to meet quality and productivity standards within set timelines
• Must adhere to attendance policies

• 2 or 4‑year college degree
• 1 or more years of relevant experience in medical collections, AR follow‑up, or billing
• Knowledge of claims review, analysis, and revenue cycle operations
• Experience with the DDE Medicare system and payer websites for claim statuses
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance claim terminology
