Medical Claim Relations Associate

• Serve as the main point of contact for the Medical Claims Review team, handling inquiries via phone, fax, and email
• Resolve escalated customer service calls and assist medical providers and claims adjusters with inquiries
• Provide information on payment status and explain bill review decisions using relevant data
• Conduct audits of medical bills for accuracy and process refund requests as necessary
• Communicate next steps for appeals and ensure compliance with business rules and fee schedules

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Minimum of three years of medical office experience
• Successful completion of medical terminology and medical coding courses
• Prior customer service experience
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Medical bill coding or auditing experience
• Certified Professional Coder-Payer (CPC-P) designation
• Good knowledge of medical bill review procedures and state guidelines
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
