Mental Health Counselor

The University of Alaska Southeast is currently seeking a motivated professional for the Lead Counselor position who has a passion for providing the highest quality care in a higher education institution setting. This position will provide direct services to students and coordinate crisis and emergency response to student needs.

The successful candidate should be able to perform ALL of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the actual job performance requirements.

Demonstrated competency in written and oral communication. Experience with computer programs such as Word and Excel and other database management skills.

This position is located on the UAS campus in Juneau, Alaska. This is a full‑time, exempt staff position complete with a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 80, based on education and experience.
