In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for delivering expert clinical training on Siemens Healthineers SPECT, SPECT CT and PET CT systems used in Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, General Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic CT settings. The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience in both MI and CT to provide expert technical training and represent Siemens Healthineers and the MI Clinical Education team with professionalism and a focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
The MI Clinical Education Specialist may also be requested to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Flex Force™ engagement (Flex Force™ Tech., Flex Force™ Coach).
Key Responsibilities- Travel:
This remote position requires > 95% travel (generally weekdays with overnight stays, often outside the job description geography. Occasional requests to support extended hours and/or weekends.) - Preparation:
Prepare and gather necessary regulatory-approved documentation for end-user training. - Communication:
Engage in effective and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders. - Training Delivery:
Conduct clinical training to educate staff (technologists, physicians, physicists, etc.) on how to use Siemens Healthineers equipment safely and effectively for newly installed systems, upgraded software/hardware features and ongoing/remedial training as needed. - Administrative Tasks:
Complete regulatory and core process documentation per policy guidelines (timecards, expense reports, vendor credentialing, training in-service reports, etc.). - Project & Time Management:
Ability to coordinate and facilitate training activities that result in excellent clinical outcomes with a positive impact on patient care, workflow and productivity. - Proficiency:
Maintaining clinical and technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens Healthineers training programs.
- NMTCB Certification or equivalent required.
- ARRT Certification in CT or equivalent required.
- Clinical Nuclear Medicine Technologist background with a minimum of 5 years SPECT, SPECT CT, and PET CT experience required.
- Experience with Siemens Healthineers SPECT, SPECT CT and PET CT systems required.
- Experience performing diagnostic CT procedures required.
- BA or BS – preferred.
- Travel experience and proximity to a major airport are highly desirable.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Copilot).
