As a Telehealth Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide virtual therapy sessions to clients experiencing a range of mental health issues. You will use evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, and treat clients, helping them achieve their mental health goals. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships in a virtual environment. To provide client-centered, culturally competent, and effective services to clients served by the agency.
This position supports the agency’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients via secure telehealth platforms.
- Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in telehealth and behavioral health practices.
- Bring high risk and/or safety concerns to the attention of the supervisor immediately.
- Develop SMART treatment plans that are monitored for completion per service standards.
- Meet all requirements for Evidence Based Practices modalities used in service provision
Position Requirements
- Master’s degree in one of the following:
- Social work with an emphasis on clinical practice
- Clinical or counseling psychology
- Marriage and Family Therapy
- OR related field
- Training and experience in child, adult, and family therapy/counseling
- Licensure through one of the following Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCW)
- LMFT, LMFTA
- LMHC, LMCHA
- Proficiency with office technology including software applications relative to the job including web maintenance
Education and Experience
- Minimum of two years previous experience in either foster care or social services
