• Schedule patients for ancillary, surgical, and medical testing/procedures/admissions using the scheduling module
• Answer incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner
• Obtain and enter accurate insurance information, including pre-certification/authorization numbers
• Maintain open communication with physician office staff and registration staff regarding patient scheduling and admissions
• Edit medical accounts to a PRE status according to facility standards and guidelines

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in scheduling preferred
• Proficient in PC applications as required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems

• Experience in a healthcare setting or with patient scheduling
• Familiarity with Meditech scheduling module
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and staff
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately
• Previous experience in customer service roles
