Mental Health Outpatient Therapist (Bilingual - Hybrid)

*** A Freeman's Place Counseling, LLC is hiring! We are a licensed mental health clinic in the state of New Jersey and are currently looking for a talented, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) full-time mental health therapist as our counseling services expand. Must have a valid and active LPC, LCSW, LAC, or LSW license in the state of New Jersey. Looking for clinicians with strong clinical skills and experience working with adolescents and families is a must.

Minimum of 2 years experience in direct practice with clients required. Credentialed with insurance companies is a plus. A minimum of 25 clients per week is a must. • Provide individual and family counseling weekly, 45-60 minutes in a professional manner.
• Provide clinically appropriate treatment based on mental health assessment and treatment plans.
• Provide high quality, compassionate, and ethical outpatient mental health therapy to clients as scheduled.
• Provide services and conduct self in a manner consistent with the professional Code of Ethics.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation including treatment plans, initial assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Complete clinical documentation within same day of service (progress notes to be completed after each session, initial assessment and treatment plan completed with 72 hours of date of service).

• A valid and active LAC, LSW, LCSW, or LPC license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• Must be a bilingual therapist (Spanish-speaking).
• Master's Degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work, or mental-health related field (Preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in direct practice with clients required.
• Minimum of 25 clients per week is a must.
• Previous experience in home-based mental health, office-based counseling and/or school-based counseling protocol, and/or knowledge of EHR is desirable but not required.
• Ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Must be compassionate, personable, and have exceptional active listening skills.

This is an employee position.
