Join our team at E‑Therapy. We are seeking a dedicated Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students PreK‑12, remotely.
Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team at E‑Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing speech and language therapy services to students in PreK‑12 schools, helping them develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings.
- Incorporate evidence‑based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes.
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
- Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
- Certification or proficiency in the target language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, etc.).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working as a bilingual speech‑language pathologist in a school or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapy techniques in both English and the target language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers.
- Proficiency in assessment, therapy planning, and documentation.
- Experience in teletherapy or online speech‑language therapy services (preferred).
