Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement RN

Overview

Evergreen Healthcare Group is hiring a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement RN to support skilled nursing facilities across Oregon and Nevada.

This work may be travel or remote, based on current needs of centers. Must meet all travel and remote work requirements. Oregon/Nevada.

• Completes the MDS, CAAs, and Care Plan per the most current edition of the MDS 3.0 RAI Manual, using facility software (e.g. PCC).
• Coordinates the collection of data for each patient, to include documentation review, observation, and interview of patient and staff (as necessary) to assure good standard of practice and as instructed by the most current edition of the MDS 3.0 RAI Manual.
• Coordinates and provides interdisciplinary schedule for MDS assessments and care plans as required by OBRA and PPS.
• Reviews provider documentation to complete accurate and appropriate ICD-10 coding and ranking as part of the RAI process for each MDS.
• Uses knowledge of Significant Change criteria, Quality Measures (QM), Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) and Case Mix (or other reimbursement models) to assist the IDT in making decisions for either completing or not completing additional MDS assessments based on clinical criteria as identified in the most current version of the MDS 3.0 RAI Manual.

• Current RN license
• Experience of RAI, PDPM, and Case Mix
• Proficient in EMR systems (Point Click Care )
• Live in NV, OR, or neighboring state near a major airport
