Position SummaryPhoenix Behavioral Health is seeking a motivated and reliable Evening Telehealth Therapist to facilitate virtual therapy groups and provide individual clinical services via telehealth. This position is ideal for a therapist looking for supplemental income, flexible evening hours, or a second position without weekend or on-call responsibilities.
The therapist will run evening telehealth groups Tuesday through Thursday, maintain a small caseload, and complete a limited number of virtual intakes each week.
Primary Responsibilities- Facilitate evening telehealth group therapy sessions (Tues–Thurs from 6pm-9pm)
- Provide individual therapy to assigned clients
- Maintain a maximum caseload of 15 clients
- Complete 1–3 virtual intakes per week
- Develop and update treatment plans
- Complete progress notes and clinical documentation within required time frames
- Participate in interdisciplinary communication with case management and psychiatry staff
- Monitor client risk, safety concerns, and clinical stability
- Maintain compliance with agency and state documentation standards
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- New Jersey license: LAC, LPC, LSW, or LCSW
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic documentation
- Strong group facilitation skills
- Reliable internet connection and private workspace
- Experience in Partial Care, IOP, PHP, or outpatient group therapy settings
- Experience running skills-based or psycho educational groups (CBT/DBT strongly preferred)
