Team Overview:

The Provider Experience team supports ZERO’s vision of healthcare simplified to $0 by supporting the providers in our network. The team is responsible for analyzing insurance pricing data, processing medical claims, supporting referrals to ZERO providers, and provider issue resolution. Provider Experience collaborates with all other teams within the company delivering the best experience possible to the members, clients and providers we serve.

Job Summary:

The Provider Experience Support Representative plays a vital role in ensuring seamless support for ZERO’s provider partners by addressing day-to-day operational needs. This role is responsible for resolving provider issues, inquiries, and billing concerns through our customer success tool (Zendesk), supporting provider referrals to ensure timely member visits, and assisting with claims processing, adjustments, and refunds. The representative collaborates closely with internal teams, including Member Experience, Employer Experience, Engineering, and Network Development, to deliver efficient solutions and maintain a smooth provider experience.

Key Responsibilities of Position:

  • Daily Issue Resolution
    :
    Address provider issues and inquiries as well as investigate and resolve billing issues and within our CSM tool (Zendesk).
  • Provider Referral Support: Answer inquiries in our internal referral platform to ensure that members are seen promptly for their visits, and all provider questions are addressed.
  • Provider Claims Support: Support the Provider Experience team with data entry to support claims processing, adjustments, or refunds.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams at ZERO including the Member and Client Experience teams, Engineering and Network Development.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry
  • An understanding of healthcare services, self-funded insurance plans
  • Knowledge of CPT/HCPC coding
  • Good understanding of claims processing and ideally bundled payments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in MAC computers, CRM software, Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Associate degree, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
