The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the effective use and optimization of the organization’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) application, Patagonia Health. This role develops and maintains comprehensive training materials and workflow documentation to ensure consistent and efficient processes. The Systems Analyst serves as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and escalation support for EHR-related inquiries, and collaborates closely with program staff and the EHR vendor to implement system enhancements.
ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS
Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, medical billing or coding, healthcare management, information technology, information systems or related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience3 - 4 years’ experience in a clinical setting with demonstrated experience working with electronic health records required. Previous experience using the Patagonia Health system preferred.
Knowledge and Skills- Demonstrated ability to identify, research, troubleshoot, and analyze systems software problems, and perform systems evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to research, prepare and compose systems operating procedures and documentation, reports, and create training materials.
- Demonstrated ability to interact, advise, guide, train, and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present information to individuals and groups.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- Organized, methodical, and focused on continuous improvement.
Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPSInternal working relationships with clinical staff and members of the data team.
PHYSICAL EFFORTPosition may require extended periods of sitting or standing. Finger dexterity to type, visual acuity to read and write, ability to communicate via telephone, etc. for typical office work.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY/ACCOUNTABILITY- Direct Supervision – Director of Data and Analytics
- Indirect Supervision – Associate Director for Preventive Health
- Budget/Money/Material – No budget involvement or oversight
- Reports to – Director of Data and Analytics
Tulsa, OK. Multiple locations, remote work possible depending on business needs.
WORKING CONDITIONSThis position primarily functions in an office environment with regular exposure to indoor lights, office equipment noise, frequent interruptions, and regular interaction with internal customers.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS- Must maintain THD record confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
- Must possess ability and willingness to perform job-related travel.
