Award winning federally qualified community health center is seeking a Psychiatric APRN to join their team!

In collaboration with the Behavioral Health Team, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing quality client centered psychiatric care services for patients including comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, routine follow ups and emergency interventions.

Develop and implement patient psychiatric treatment plans, records, and progress notes per agency policies and procedures and approved protocols developed within the guidelines of the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act.

The Behavioral Health Services team is an energetic, diverse, highly competent, supportive group of professionals who pride themselves on providing quality care and measurable impact to the community we serve.

The Qualified Candidate is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensed in Connecticut and will have Board Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Relevant experience working with, evaluating and prescribing for mental and behavioral health diagnoses.

The Center is located in beautiful Southeast Connecticut. The location offers central access to New York City, Boston, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island. The location offers something for everyone such as nightlife with world class restaurants within a short drive and seaside communities within an easy commuting distance and excellent school systems.
