• Provide clinical triage and demonstrate knowledge of patient care appropriate to various age groups
• Receive and document telephone requests from patients under the direction of the physician
• Review patient data and implement physician orders while documenting in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Obtain and document patient information related to acute and chronic illnesses, following established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians to provide patient education and schedule appointments as needed

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or an accredited nursing program
• Current certification/license from a recognized medical assistant or nursing body
• Ability to work in a HIPAA compliant environment
• High-speed internet service required for remote work
• Experience is preferred but not required

• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Additional certifications in healthcare or medical assistance
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
