Position Overview
The Child & Family Therapist provides mental health treatment and case management services to children and families in home and community settings. This role requires delivery of Treatment Foster Care Oregon (TFCO) services with fidelity to the model, including behavioral interventions targeting school and family functioning. The therapist coordinates care across agencies and helps families build sustainable support systems post-discharge.

Community and home-based services. Must maintain a flexible schedule and cell phone availability. Must be available to clients 7 days/week, 24 hours/day during on-call rotation.

CompensationCompensation: Grant-based position – pay is dependent on licensure & experience. Non-negotiable.
- Full License: $30.90 – $40.89/hour.
- Limited License: $28.68 – $37.91/hour.
- Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate ($0.70/mile) when using personal vehicle.
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- Active Michigan licensure as one of the following:
- LLMSW / LMSW
. - LLPC / LPC
. - TLLP / LLP / LP

- LLMSW / LMSW
(Limited licenses require appropriate supervision)
- Must meet Child Mental Health Professional requirements within 120 days.
- Minimum 1 year experience treating minors and families.
- Strong cultural competency and family-centered approach.
- Ability to work within complex family/community systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Favorable driving record.
- Must obtain chauffeur’s license within 30 days.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
- Family therapy models (structural, strategic, functional).
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
